Hi,
This is the only Elateridae I got in Vietnam.
I collected it in a War Museum, in a little town named Vinh-Moc, it was dead and entangled in a spider web.
At that time, I had many small boxes which all wore a number. I put this Elateridae in one of these boxes, and when I looked at the number, it was B52.
The size is 15.5 mm.
No idea of its identity.

It is a Melanotus species, if it is a male we can examine the aedeagus and can give a near sure answer.

Thank you, Anostirus. I am very clumsy at taking out aedeaguses, I never managed to prepare one correctly; so that we'll have to stay to the genus, I am very happy with this information
