# 4202 - Captured in Neuville-Bosc (Dépt. Oise - France) - 15 06 2006

This capture is exceptional because Neuville-Bosc is almost in Northern France (49°12′00″ N - 02°00′45″ E)

Being given the length of Proboscis, one can hesitate between Leopoldius (Proboscis shorter than the head) and Conops vesicularis (Lg. Proboscis ~ Lg. head)
I thought first of all at Leopoldius, but I hesitated with C. vesicularis.
I thus sent the photo of this capture to Diptera.info, R. van der Weele confirmed my 1st choice.
Indeed the body is black with yellow markings (the body is reddish with yellow markings for C. vesicularis)
