 Questa e la seconda specie di Libelloides da la Romania. È possibile avere un nome? Inoltre sarà interessato se qualcuno sa dove e quando è stato pubblicata... grazie. Raccolti (2 esemplari) nel sud-ovest della Romania, vicino alla città di Drobeta Turnu Severin nel 2.V.1998, leg. Cosmin O. Manci. |

Libelloides lacteus (syn. ottomanus). I don't know the author and year of the description. The species was recorded in Romania as Ascalaphus ottomanus in 1970's I cannot remember. I cannot give you more details, but what I surely know this is the single popultion of L. lacteus in Romania. I gave you a start point, you can get more. |

Hi Claudio, I just spent my childhood in that area and I know about it. It was the 1st. entomological attraction in that time.

The presence of this species in Romania was unknown even to me! In fact it is not reported in the catalogue of Palearctic Neuropera (2001) [nor in the classical monograph of Kis et. al (1970)]. This is evening I'm going to control a review of the Balkan Ascalaphidae for more information.

Confermo, la descrizione è apparsa sul fascicolo XXI del Fauna insectorum Europae datato 1839. R |
