Hi,

Another dragonfly endemic for Greece.
This is the helladica subspecies, another two are known: kastalia (Mount Parnassos) and buchholzi (in Cyclades).

The species was found in large number in Evia Island in 1.june.2010 (around 50 specimens observed and around 20 exuvia where found (and collected) on cca 10 m shore line). At that point also Cordulegaster heros Theischinger, 1979 was found and collected (one collected and other 6 observed).

To be honest at this point i'm not sure if the exuviae from this photos is for sure from C.helladica. More photos of this species here.

The photos are not the best, again here was windy.
