per me questo e un maschio di Coenagrion ornatum (Selys, 1850), e penso che è una osservazione molto interessante... nel Dijkstra questa specie viene segnalato come estinto.
Mi piacerebbe sentire anche il parere del Maurizio (gomphus) su questo.

is not identical with romanian specimens that I know but I will still say C.ornatum. Is possible to make a crop to see better the head and thorax (prothorax) (from the second images)?

maybe is worth to go there again and try to get better photos.

A me sembra uno scitulum, ma non sono al livello di esperienza di Cosmin...
quindi non saprei senza poterlo analizzare in mano personalmente...

I will say that C.scitulum can be excluded because of the general coloration, shape of pronotum and color and form of pterostogma.
For me is a strange animal... I can think also to some form of C.pulchellum? Maurizio (gomphus) is needed here and when he will be back from Greece...

Daniele, if possible please collect some specimens.

oggi sono tornato sul posto,ma non ho trovato niente ..la giornata non era delle migliori..
il cielo era molto nuvoloso ed ha minacciato di piovere per alcuni istanti....

non sono ancora in grecia, vi scrivo da un internet café a otranto

dal disegno, penso di poter escludere il pulchellum; per la verità, la forma dello pterostigma mi farebbe pensare a un Coenagrion caerulescens (e qui con me non ho niente per verificare se la forma del pronoto ci può stare); ci vorrebbe una foto dove si vedano le appendici terminali, in caerulescens e scitulum le superiori sono più lunghe delle inferiori, nell'ornatum è il contrario (p.s. a occhio, non mi sembra un ornatum)

Ciao a tutti,
per quel che può valere il mio parere si tratta di un maschio di Coenagrion mercuriale (Charpentier, 1840) o forse meglio Coenagrion mercuriale castellani Roberts, 1948 dato che il vero mercuriale da noi non dovrebbe esserci.
