Perdonatemi se posto spesso le stesse specie, ma col vostro aiuto vorrei imparare a districarmi con queste interessanti specie. Questa qua è una femmina immatura ti I. genei? Ps come discernere i generi Ischnura e Coenagrion? Fiume Torto, C. Mendolazza, Caccamo (PA). 21 VI 2010 |

The only Coenagrion that is somehow like an Ischnura is a particular form of female from Coenagrion pulchellum (Vander Linden, 1825). To see that form please check the photos from here. Now Coenagrion vs. Ischnura males: pterostigma in one color/pterostigma two-toned color black inter pleural stripe and usualy very well developed/black inter pleural stripe visible or not in general abdomen is blue with black markings/abdomen black only segment 8 and/or 9 with blue female no vulvar spine/vulvar spine is present but in general Coenagrion is very different compared with Ischnura in the field. check for fotos in internet or on my website...
