Questo esemplare è stato prelevato nella costa mediterranea del Marocco

Appartiene al genere Cataglyphis credo Cataglyphis nodus

It is a member of the genus Cataglyphis but not Cataglyphis noda because this species is exclusively eastern Mediterranean with western border of distribution in Croatia. The specimen on photo belongs to the Catglyphis bicolora group, typical for Saharian countries and with great probability it is C. bicolora, the commonest species of the group.

The gender of Cataglyphis is feminine thus species name was emended to "bicolora".

Sorry Lech, but bicolor is a invariant adjective bicolor (m.), bicolor (f.), bicolor (n.). Bicolora simply don't exist!

... moreover, "nodus" is not an adjective, is a noun in apposition (=knot), so that Cataglyphis noda is a nonsense
