This new species was recorded recently in the first volume of a monograph of Greek ants. It was published as first volume of a new series Natural History Monographs of the Upper Silesian Museum as open access book in PDF format and is available to download from my ResearchGate profile. This is a large book with 757 pages in two parts. First part contains introduction, keys to identification and descriptions of species (pages 1-298), the second part contains colour plates (pages 299-757):

First volume contains review of all subfamilies except the subfamily Myrmicinae. The second volume with review of the subfamily Myrmicinae except the genera Temnothorax and Tetramorium is in progres and, we hope, will be published at the end of the next year. We hope that the entomological community will receive our book positively and will enjoy learning about the ants of Greece, Europe's richest country innumber of known species.
