Dal setaccio, dove avevo "steso" un po' di detriti raccolti sul Monte Sparagio, ai piedi di alcuni lecci, è saltata fuori anche questa meravigliosa formica....che al sottoscritto sembra tanto una Amblyopone impressifrons.
Riguardando una pubblicazione che trattava di questa specie, in effetti è citata anche della Sicilia...ma ovviamente una vostra conferma è graditissima ;)

Bellissima... Ma siamo sicuri che non sia A. denticulatum? La sto confrontando con la foto dell'altra che trovasti (ora non ho tempo di guardare più a fondo) e mi sembra un po' diversa. Me la potresti tenere da parte?
Comunque è incredibile che tu riesca sempre a trovare le bestie più impensabili :D :D !!
Comunque io l'azzardo con Amblyopone denticulatum
