Non mi convince: penso si tratti di un maschio di Gegenes pumilio (Hoffmannsegg, 1804). Tieni conto, comunque, che una sicura separazione fra le due specie può farsi solo attraverso il confronto dell'armatura genitale maschile. Il tuo, fortunatamente, è un maschio. Fra l'altro, sarebbe interessante accertarne l'identità, in quanto la presenza di G. nostrodamus in Sardegna è messa in dubbio. Ecco quanto scrivono, a questo proposito, nel loro recente lavoro, Leigheb, Leo, Crnjar e Balletto (2006)*: "The Italian range of this species [G. nostrodamus] is similar to that of G. pumilio and most records are concentrated in the South of the peninsula and in Sicily. For Sardinia it was first reported by LEO & MELONI (1993) and listed later on by TOLMAN & LEWINGTON (1997) and by BIERMANN (1998). KLEINEKUHLE (1999), however, considered its presence on the island very doubtful. The two specimens found by P. LEO and C. MELONI, respectively in the surroundings of Cagliari (5-10-1190) and of Sedilo (province of Oristano: 02-08-1999) are females and cannot be differentiated from Gegenes pumilio. Since no males are available, some further Sardinian specimens are needed before G. nostrodamus can be confirmed for Sardinia."
