This is from Santa Caterina, 1738m, in the Stelvio National Park on 30 June. Any suggestions would be great! Matthew

Hi Matthew and Clido, the genus Pyrgus is not exactly easy, at least for me! However, if I'm not mistaken, there is on Upf 'c'-shaped mark at end-cell, so could be it Pyrgus carlinae? Surely says Clido with an image of the "reverse" it would be easier! Best wishes Stefano |

se fosse stata scattata sull'Appennino, avrei detto Pyrgus serratulae che non ha ( o ne ha appena accennate) macchie sull'ala posteriore..... ma sulle Alpi ci sono specie che non conosco.....
