Con l'aria rovente che sembrava uscita da un phon gironzolavo oggi in fase digestiva in quel di Montemaggiore Belsito (PA) quando vidi roboante questo grosso imenottero (circa 4 cm) che non avevo mai incontrato. Di che si tratta?

Il tuo è il secondo reperto di questa specie in Sicilia, isola della quale non è ancora ufficialmente segnalata.
La prima cattura risale a qualche mese fa: la località potrai leggerla nella breve nota che stiamo preparando con Bruno Massa su "Il Naturalista Siciliano".
Se mi dai il permesso, vorrei inserire anche questo tuo reperto nella nota ;)
