Abax contractus dovrebbe essere un endemismo italiano...  Forse Abax parallelus (Duftschmid, 1812)? |

Quello è il "contractus" così come interpretato fino ad alcuni anni fa. Il riesame dei tipi ha dimostrato che il vero contractus è quello che era noto come continuus.
