Questo Carabidae si aggirava tra l'erba secca di un prato assolato, con temperature africane, e con tanto di protorace sfondato.

Lazio, Frosinone, dintorni di Fiuggi, 27.VIII.2010, M. Gigli legit
11,2 mm

Mi pare si possa trattare di un Harpalus rubripes. Gli Harpalus sono spesso termofili e le temperature "africane" non li disturbano più che tanto.
