It's very difficult to give you the identification on a single female. Probably it is Carabus (Archicarabus) montivagus bulgaricus Csiki, 1927 but I'm not sure in fact not far that area lives aslo Carabus (Archicarabus) wiedemanni burgassiensis Apfelbeck, 1904. Thank you,Ivan, It is a single specimen from this locality.Here is a picture of another similar specimen(though I find some differences in sculpture of elytra) with data: Stara Zagora,Pastren vill.,26.05.2011.Maybe it will be useful.

Thank you. It seems to be very similar. Small differece in elytra sculpture are the usual variability of the species. Regards, Ivan |
