è possibile identificare questo bel carabide da una foto?
Trovato sotto una zolla di terra in un campo arato,

Lunghezza: circa 10 mm

Mah, io mi sbilancerei dicendo che probabilmente si tratta di un Harpalus distinguendus. Potrei essere smentito dalla foto dettagliata dopo preparazione, ma il colore del corpo e delle zampe mi fanno pensare così.

Ecco le foto dell'esemplare, vicino ne ho trovati anche alcuni altri, che a me paiono della stessa specie ma hanno colorazioni differenti, molti verdi ed uno nero-bluastro, è possibile che appartengano alla stessa specie :roll:

Lunghezza: 9,5 mm

Harpalus distinguendus anche per me. Sugli altri esemplari è difficile dire qualcosa perchè effettivamente questa è una specie variabile, ma d'altra parte spesso trovi varie specie di Harpalus insieme.

Scusate, io sono stato il primo a proporre Harpalus distinguendus, ma adesso a vedere le tibie chiaramente rossastre mi viene un dubbio.

Non è che si tratta in realtà di H. affinis? Bisognerebbe vedere le interstrie più esterne delle elitre se sono lisce e glabre o punteggiate e pubescenti. Puoi guardarle e/o fotografarle? :roll:
