Carabidae "testone" trovato il maggio 1982 alla periferia di Porto Torres. E' lungo 15 mm.
Sino al genere credo di esserci arrivato, dovrebbe essere Acinopus; per quanto riguarda la specie, azzarderei Acinopus megacephalus (Rossi, 1794) o, in seconda battuta, Acinopus picipes (Olivier, 1795).

angoli posteriori del pronoto più largamente arrotondati nel megacephalus, e margine esterno della mandibola dx nel picipes con un'intaccatura presso la base (circa dove vedi spuntare il palpo), nel megacephalus senza intaccature

questo in sardegna dove ci sono solo loro due, in italia meridionale e ancor più in sicilia le cose si complicherebbero leggermente :D ...
