questo maschio è simile al primo Carabus che ho inserito in giornata, ma rispetto a quello i riflessi sul pronoto sono violacei, le elitre sono meno allungate e sull'apice del pene (è meno estroflesso) non so che dire, il ché mi mette in notevole difficoltà ...
lunghezza 28-30 mm

Di germarii s.l. non ne ho molti (qui non ci sono e li trovavo solo quando andavo in vacanza al Nord), ma nell'affine violaceus differenze di forma e colore come quelle tra questo e l'altro sono nella norma
