I have this nice male specimen in my collection, was collected in my garden (20.07.2013). I hope the pictures are enought for an identification

Hi Alexandru, if the color of the abdomen is dark as I expect, it is Brachinus (Brachinus) crepitans (Linnaeus, 1758)

Yes, the color of the abdomen is black, so it is surely B. crepitans .....Thank you for the name !
