Same locality of this one: http://www.entomologiitaliani.net/public/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=66243, and looking very similar  , I bet they are the same species. In any case, look to fore- and mid tarsi: this looks like female, so  nothing to dissect. G.

Yes, you are right. I dissected all the Ophonus looking specimens in my collection and this is the female of O. jailensis. Thank you again! |
