I guess this is a Pterosthichus species :roll:
lenght = ~ 17 mm

Any advice is welcome :)

does the last tarsal segment have few setae on the ventral side or is completely glabrous?

If the last tarsal segment mean the segment before the claw, this mean here it is completely glabrous :)

So it should be a Abax (Abax) continuus Ganglbauer, 1891...

I do not think this species is present in Romania ;)

This should be Abax (Abax) parallelus parallelus (Duftschmid, 1812)

Abax---> No setiferous points on the 3rd stria, 7th stria usually keeled at shoulder
Pterostichus---> Always setiferous punctures on the 3rd stria (and sometimes 5th and 7th too), 7th stria always plain at shoulder
