La scorsa estate, in Albania, ho raccolto questo Carabus di piccolissime dimensioni (14 mm) che passeggiava lungo un sentiero di montagna. Mi incuriosisce sapere che cos'è.

Ho visto ora qualche foto in Internet. Probabilmente, trovandola in natura, non l'avrei ritenuta una Calosoma. Davvero bella con quelle foveole lucenti su sfondo blu!

Vedo che sul Forum Callisthenes è usato sia come genere a sé stante (e contenente altri sottogeneri) che come sottogenere di Calosoma. Spero di non aprire una delle solite discussioni senza fine chiedendo quale dei due sistemi si vuole seguire. Quando vi sarete decisi cambierò i titolo alle altre discussioni.
