sottopongo questo esemplare un po' vecchiotto che ho ricevuto così com'è tempo fa...cosa potrebbe essere ? Ammesso che si possa desumere dalla foto...

Direi una Phyla. Parrebbe Phyla rectangula ma sarebbe meglio vedere più da vicino il pronoto.

Grazie mille Marco. Quali sarebbero i caratteri distintivi tra una rectangula e una.....?
Nel frattempo me lo riguardoal microscopio con un'indicazione precisa :ok:

la scelta è fra rectangula e tethys
guarda qui http://coleonet.de/coleo/texte/phyla.htm
uno ha il pronoto agli angoli posteriori sinuati e appuntiti, mentre l'altro li ha arrotondati ;)

Ho verificato e gli angoli posteriori del pronoto sono arrotondati, quindi penso si possa rinominare il titolo indicando Phyla tethys..
