I am trying to identify this specie from North Spain (EUSKADI) , I mean is a Pterostichinae tribu specimen but I am not sure.

This one is certainly a Calathus, but some characters are not visible and some species from Spain are really difficult. Can you please take a photo of the elytra after careful cleaning, so as to see the point on the striae? |

From what I see it should be Calathus fuscipes ssp. graecus Dejean, 1831 Have a nice day
