Hypotyphlus sardous (Jeannel, 1937) Species details

Dopo Rhegmatobius strictus e Microtyphlus saxatilis, questo è il terzo anillino trovato in Sardegna, e probabilmente il meno comune e più localizzato. Dovrebbe essere un endemismo stretto di Golfo Aranci.
Una coppia è uscita oggi (dopo più di un mese dalla raccolta!) dalla terra presa poco fuori il paese di Golfo Aranci, circa 200 metri a nord-est del comune. Il punto di prelievo era alla base di alcuni lentischi e ulivi, nei pressi di un leggero avvallamento.
Dimensioni: poco più di 1.5 mm.
