is possible to confirm/infirm that this is Pedostrangalia verticalis (Germar, 1822)? (collected in Peloponnese 37.774736/22.391951).
as a detail that is not visible the abdomen is reddish.
I'm not sure about the ID because of the very large size, little more than 16 mm.

yes, it should be Pedostrangalia verticalis (Germar, 1822). As far as I know, nothing similar occurs on Balcan peninsula and Peloponnese.

Dear Cosmin,
it is right. Pedostrangalia (Neosphenalia) verticalis (Germar, 1822) is easy to distinguish from the other black Pedostrangalia tha occours in Greece and Peloponneso (Etorofus pubescens Fabricius, 1787) now regarded as good Genus and not Subgenus of Pedostrangalia) for the red abdomen (impossible to check fom you picture) and the red spot between antenna.
