wider than longer pronotum and indistinct black pubescense leaded me to Agapanthia lais Reiche, 1858.
the specimens was collected in Peloponnese (37.307719/21.866835) in 25.may.2010.
I will like to receive a infirmation/confirmation about this ID.

Why not Agapanthia violacea ?
As far as I know, A. lais, although described from Peloponnese (wrongly), is only known from the Near Orient.

I have IDed that one so because of the wider than longer pronotum and hairs on the elitrae (using the key from Bense, is the only one that I have).
will make in a few days some comparison with material from Romania and will come back on this.

So it is a common specimen of A.violacea? For me it is violacea, but my opinion isn't valid a lot

questo esemplare (non tipico) è stato raccolto nella Grecia - Peloponneso (37.593232/21.877731), in 26.maggio.2010, leg. Cosmin O. Manci.
Presumo che non ci sono problemi con l'identificazione >>> Agapanthia (Agapanthia) violacea (Fabricius, 1775).
