zdeno ha scritto: Guys, I don` t think...well I would say I m sure its not D. P. veluchense ! Missing me there 1 very good sign - white stripes from sutura of each elytra. This is what I think is veluchense : http://www.biolib.cz/en/taxonimage/id101628/ Them stripes would be seen even if the specimens would be worn...= my opinion Hy Zdeno, also I'm not even sure is a veluchense, in addition to sutural striae not divergent on the scutellum, these examples have the exetrnal and medium elytra stripes that do not connect before the apex. Can 'be that the species is quite variable, but' the 4 copies I have at home are all like that. Too bad they are worn and certain characters are not very good visible . Bye Franco

I totally forgot this topic, but I presume that specimen is a true veluchense.

I just receive a kind reply by Andrea Sabbadini: both specimens are similar to those he collected in the same area and considered by him as belonging to etruscum, even if Franco's female has a quite inusual pattern. Moreover Andrea underlines that either greek and italian etruscum populations are in need of revision.

Franco
