Dear colleagues, Genus Trichoferus isn't an easy one. This specimen (length 18 mm) reared on 17.IX.2011 from Ficus sp. collected in Israel, Jaffa on 10.X.2010. Looks like Trichoferus griseus, but considering the area and variability I attach a photo to be sure.

Dear Jan, the beetle in the photograph isn' in the best perspective to be correctly identified, but I think you are correct. I also would say Trichoferus griseus.
