According the shape of the third antennal joint it belongs to pustulata group. In my opinion it is Phytoecia asiatica sublineata. Ciao Pierpaolo Rapuzzi |

It is rather Phytoecia pustulata murina Marseul, 1870. P.asiatica (achilleae) is different, close to P.nigricornis (Holzschuh, 1971:68 "Mit Ph. nigricornis F. am nächsten verwandt"). Moreover: "Ein Exemplar besitzt vollkommen schwarze Fühler" - (only one!) - whole black antennae is rarely. Subspecies P.asiatica sublineata must be stripped! : Holzschuh, 1984: "zeichnen sich 7 mir aus Armenien vorliegende Exemplare konstant durch gestreifte Flügeldecken aus, nur bei einem Exemplar sind die Streifen weniger deutlich, aber doch gut als solcher erkennbar". |
