A second species founded in Czech Republic. Monochamus saltuarius seems to me to be a good otpion !

It could be really saltuarius, can you please indicate the size of both exemplars and the host plant where you found them? |

The size is indicated just above pictures (male : 17 mm and female : 17,5 mm). For the wood which they were raised, I just know that it's pine. Pierrick |

You're right! I'm sorry. I asked this because M. saltuarius tends to be smaller than sutor and to feed on Picea. Marcello, scusa, cosa intendi con "lo scutello parla da solo..."? |
