At the turn of June and July 2015 I was looking for Saphanus piceus bartolonii on the slopes of Mount Ossa. I searched and I found!
And now I have the same doubts as Marci: whether it sure is Saphanus?
Morphologically more like a beetles of the genus Drymochares! For now, however, unless there is a revision of these genus, I sign it as S. piceus bartolonii.Saphanus picesu bartolonii SAMA et RAPUZZI, 1993
