About 10 cm ..
Could it have come to lay their eggs in the fig tree?

Hi,
you are right, it's a Batocera rufomaculata De Geer, 1775; is a pest for many kinds of fruit trees, ficus to.....but 10 cm are too much, usually are from 3 to 6 cm long.
Anyway very nice to see alive, once died the yellow color on the sides became white and the red spots on the elitra became yellow.

In case of death it turns yellow to white, red color turns to yellow.
Did I get right?
Although the fig pest, I am not in favor of killing. ;)
