Hi guys.

This was quite interesting catch as it is some hundreds kms south from loc. typicus ( only known area ).

Not sure of subgenus - Coptosia, Barbarina...Danilevsky...

At last, a second locality for Phytoecia nausicae, 16 years after the discovery of this species. The new place is 85 km away (in a straight line) from the 1st locality of this insect.
My warmest congratulations Zdeno !!! :ok:
- question: The host plant was Centaurea thracica / Centaurea sp. again ??

Thanks guys !

Not sure which species it is, George. From around Grevena it looked similar, but smaller if I remember it correctly.

Indeed, it is very similar to the host-plant at locus typicus.
So, genus Centaurea.
Thank you very much !!!
