Hi all,
I was visited southern Austria,near Willach last week.And I had a luck, I saw Tragosoma depsarium.
I also saw one specimen in flight evening.

Very good species  . You research it in dead trubks of the host?

I put to house my larva 24.12.2010 and this morning I found the pupa. I will give you information about next situation. I am curious on it. Becouse my friend had more pupa and some died.... Ciao

Hi Lukas, what kind of box are you keeping in the larvae? I'm curious cause i have seen that pupa is attacched near a glass or pvc wall, isn't right? So can you show it with a larger photo? Thk, Marcello |

Hi Marcello, I have only one pupa in this box. Box is filled by wet shredded wood. But I have next larvae in another box filled by original dead wood. Ciao

I prend larvae to paper tube. And I found fresh adult (female), before two days. It is my first adult from larvae. Ciao
