The difference is really impressive !!!
I have specimens from central and southern Greece. In all of them, the color of all the 6 femurs is the typical (the club is black).
In yours specimen, it may be a color variation, in a single individual.
It would be interesting, if you had in your hands more specimens from the same locality, to see if there are some color differences.

Thanks, George!
It's a single specimen at present. It can well be ssp. syriacus. Also locality is very close to the boarder with Turkey(and NE Greece too).

Hi Georgi,
it is interesting. For me it is rufipes ssp. rufipes. It is only a color variation. I have several specimens from Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey that show the same color of your. From the same locality I’ve seen specimens with black or red hind femora. The real ssp. syriacum is only from SE Turkey (Hatay region), Syria, Lebanon and so on. This subspecies is different also for the general shape of the body, the color of the antennae and sometimes for all the legs totally yellow.
Ciao
Pierpaolo

Thank you very much, Pierpaolo!
By chance I found a second specimen of P. rufipes with front legs completely orange, this time from my region- Stara Zagora.
