This isn´t genus Cryptocehalus. Beetles belong to another subfamily - Clythrinae, I think gen. Coptocephala :hi:

Hallo,
this species is not a Cryptocephalus but the Coptocephala sp. .
Probably Coptocephala scopolina but I don't know which subspecies is present in your region.

It is Coptocephala rubicunda not C. scopolina which is western species and does not occur in Romania. Records of C. scopolina from Central and East Europe concern C. rubicunda ssp. rossica but on photo is nominotypical subspecies.
