Longitarsus luridus is one of the most variable European species of the genus Longitarsus. Its body size varies from 1,5 to 2,4 mm, colour varies from pale yellow to dark brown. In South Europe occurs large and almost black form described as ab. conspiciablis (see my page: http://www.biol.uni.wroc.pl/cassidae/Eu ... uridus.htm) It feeds on Clematis (Ranunculaceae) and sometimes was treated as subspecies of luridus. Specimen on your photo looks as typical luridus, with regularly oviform elytra and strong punctation.
