The size of this beetle is ~ 3 mm, it was obtained from Chamaecytisus sp. seeds. In my oppinion it is Bruchidius villosus (http://www.coleo-net.de/coleo/texte/bru ... tm#anKer20). The problem is that I can't find this name in the Fauna Europaea (here it said that villosus, together with cisti and fasciatus are synonyms of ater, which should be the valid name now). However, in the catalogue of palearctc coleoptera, ater, obsuricornis and pubescent are the synonyms for villosus. What is the valid name for this one, and what is it's name in Guida ai Coleotteri Bruchidi della Fauna Italiana, I couldn't find it there :? :? :no1:
