Very strange prothorax. Maybe Timarcha goettingensis? |

No, it is not a member of T. goettingensis group but member of T. pratensis group. In Croatia there are three very similar species of this group with pronotum emarginate in front of hind angles: T. durmitoriensis, T. stepaneki and T. montana. Maybe all represents only local morphotypes of one species then should be named T. montana Fairmaire, 1873, the oldest name in this complex. |
