Io l'ho identificata come Labidostomis decipiens, ma non sono convintissimo. Integro l'iconografia con la foto laterale dell'endofallo estroflesso, ripreso a 8X. |

Maurizio, you are right this is Labidostomis decipiens Faldermann, 1837. The complex of characters: yellow labrum, elytra without humeral spots, sharp external margin of mandibles, distinct pubescence of pronotum are the characters of this species. The only one other Iranian species has the same set of characters - L. diversifrons but is well distinguished by straight sides of mandibles while in L. decipiens external margin of mandibles is regularly curved. |
