Is possible to ID these two specimens?
Are they male and female?
Length of specimens = 8,2 mm (left) and 10,8 mm (right).

They are two distinct species of two subgenera: left (smaller specimen) is Laccoptera nepalensis http://www.cassidae.uni.wroc.pl/katalog ... sisfig.htm the right (larger specimen) is Laccoptera (Sindiola) sp. - it looks strange because dorsal pattern is like in common in Thailand L. vigintisexnotata but all specimens I studied have last 4-5 antennal segments black while specimen on photo has antennae uniformly yellow like in L. multinotata and L. novemdecimnotata but both these species differs in another dorsal pattern. |

I had this doubt! So different size, 6 points on pronotum and not 2.....but same locality, same date, very similar form and......only one photo.  I think it is better to separate the two species into two different discussions. I send new separate photos. |
