Secondo me no. Manca il dentino al callo omerale e le strie elitrali sono troppo larghe, troppo impresse. Forse qualcosa che incomincia per Bodil: Bodilus? Bodiloides? Bodilopsis? Se è un maschio fai una foto dell'edeago: se è allungato possiamo escudere il terzo gruppo, se invece è corto escludiamo i primi due. |

Without doubt, it's Aphodius sbgn. Bodilus: sp. lugens or punctipennis (in the photo is not evident whether or not the elytra is opaque or nitid. This is the elementary key for both species (in Italian): - elitre interamente opache ... A. (Bodilus) punctipennis Er. (lungh. 7-8mm) - elitre interamente lucide ..... A. (Bodilus) lugens Creutz. (lungh. 7-9mm) In my opinion, it seems to be a female of A. (B.) punctipennis - very good species for romanian fauna! Try to wash surface of the specimen by water and some surfactant and give here a new photo please. Thank You. A. (B.) lugens see the following photo:

In that case, it's A. lugens, species common in Your country, especially VI.-VII. |

Grazie per il pdf, Aphodius! La checklist rumena della CHIMIŞLIU è comunque un lavoro fatto in fretta e furia, pieno zeppo di errori di ortografia, non ultimo un "meraviglioso" Scarabaeus us Illiger, 1803. Da prenderne atto e dimenticare in fretta. |
