What do you think, can this be the male of that new genus (You know what I mean :) )? I found this one again in the same pool in the exact same date but 2 years later.
Size: 8 mm
The very strange shape of the pronotum makes me doubtful.

This seems to be Paracoptochirus singularis (Harold, 1868), a very rare pholeophile Aphodiinae. Try again in the pool, Baris, it is a real treasure trove...

Well, it was fast. I saw that you have published a paper about this species in 2010 and saw that there were officially only 6 specimens known. So it is really rare. Thank you again for the ID.
