Hi,

one hour before tried my second stacked photos... and I think the results are much more better than in the first one.

this male of Trichius fasciatus (Linnaeus, 1758) was collected in 29.july.2010 in Moldova (46.174505/26.416320).

I know that the background of the photos ... label and everything is confusing but this was just a test.
canon 7D + canon 70-200 + rings / refocusing on each photos (created from 9 photos) ... stacked with Zerene Stacker 1.02 .

so I will be really interested to receive your critics...

I do not know the software you mention, but the results seem perfect
On my side, I stack photos with CombineZP.

Marco, solo una domanda: hai riscontrato problemi con CombineZP? A me spesso ha dato immagini sdoppiate, tanto che l'ho disinstallato e installato la vecchia versione CombineZ5, che oltre ad essere più veloce non mi ha mai dato quello strano difetto.

Io mi trovo molto bene, anche se non è molto "user friendly".
L'interfaccia è migliorata rispetto alle versioni vecchie, ma si è (lievemente) complicato l'utilizzo. Ora bisogna dare due comandi per uno stacking ordinario: prima "align and balance used frames" e poi "do stack".
Forse ti si sdoppiano le immagini perchè le carichi e dopo dai direttamente "do stack?"

Is the software you mention free?
I like Combine results but it is quite slow.
