Protaetia (Potosia) lambillionea (Alexis & Delpont, 2000) from Turkey (?)
Turkey, Antalya, Taskesigi, 18.06.1996, leg. Dirk Rohwedder,
18 mm

I have to diagnose a fault of the species Protaetia (Potosia) funesta (Ménétriès, 1836) because it's a different of genital.

You are probably right in thinking it is P. lambillionea (treated by Tauzin as a subspecies of P. funebris, not P. funesta).

However, the situation of this taxon is not perfectly clear: in his revision of the P. funebris complex Tauzin explained that diagnostic characters used by Alexis and Delpont are not useful. Therefore, as far as I understand, this species can now be separated from P. funebris funebris based only on the collecting area.
