Unfortunately, it is only one female. It hits on my chest in flight and falls right in front of me on the walking side of the city. So, no chance for a male. Length 7,5 mm.

The identification of Anisoplia females can be extremely hard, in the absence of associated males. Based on what I can see of the membrane at the edge of the elytra, I would refer this specimen to a group different from the one including agricola: the mentioned membrane seem to be too short, ending before the external apical (rounded) angle of the elytra. In agricola it should cover this portion. For example, did you exclude A. lata? Anyway, this is just a suggestion. |
