Onthophagus of the nominotypical subgenus. Most probably Onthophagus (Onthophagus) taurus (Schreber, 1759) [Scarabaeidae], a minor male. |

As in all horned beetles, there are minor males that look like females. Usually, but not always, you can distinguish them because they lack clypeo-frontal carina. This is the case of Onthophagus in your photo. |
