They seem to be a male and a female of an Onthophagus species belonging to the "O. pygargus" complex, a group presently under revision. |

The specimens in the photo, the female (first spcm.) at least, have the pronotal puntures large, strongly impressed, closed on disc. In O. marginalis complex, pronotal punctures are small, shallowly impressed, spaced on disc. |
