Any idea about this Panelus from Australia? Any of you know a specialist on this group? Lenght of the specimen is 3 mm.

Jan is right, this specimen belongs to Lepanus genus  . However, there are not only 26 species, Tom Weir (CSIRO Canberra) and Nicole Gunter (Cleveland Museum, USA) are currently reviewing this genus and there are about (!) 60 new species recognised by both morphlogical and molecular characters. So it seems this specimen will remain Lepanus sp., at least for now
